PETALING JAYA: Integrated industrial space solutions provider AME Elite Consortium Bhd has entered into a strategic collaboration with Taiwan-listed global technology group FIC Global Inc (FICG), executed through its advanced manufacturing subsidiary, PRO3C (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
Formalised at the Asean Conference 2026 in Singapore on Friday, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) positions AME Elite as the primary industrial partner supporting FICG’s cross-border “JS-SEZ Twinning Strategy”.
As artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, data centres and semiconductor technologies continue to accelerate global industrial transformation, manufacturers are increasingly reconfiguring their supply chains to improve resilience, operational agility and customer responsiveness across international markets.
Against this backdrop, FICG is advancing its regional growth strategy in Southeast Asia. Rather than representing a conventional manufacturing expansion, the initiative reflects FICG’s long-term vision of building an integrated cross-border operating model across the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
Alongside FICG’s direct letter of intent with JTC Corporation, Singapore’s industrial master planner and infrastructure developer, the dual collaborations establish FICG’s JS-SEZ Twinning Strategy.
By combining Johor’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem with Singapore’s strengths in innovation, international connectivity and supply chain management, FICG aims to strengthen end-to-end capabilities, spanning manufacturing, strategic sourcing, supply chain integration, and customer-facing operations.
Under this strategy, PRO3C will continue expanding its manufacturing footprint in Johor to support growing demand from the AI, data centre, semiconductor and advanced technology sectors.
To facilitate this growth, the MoU establishes a collaborative framework for AME Elite to deliver integrated industrial park development, customised industrial facilities and engineering solutions to support PRO3C’s growing operations and ecosystem in Malaysia.
The MoU underscores AME Elite’s track record of capturing foreign direct investment entering the JS-SEZ. Through its i-Park model and integrated construction and engineering capabilities, AME Elite provides global players in advanced sectors access to high-specification and sustainable operating environments.
Executive director and group CEO Dylan Tan Teck Eng said: “AME Elite provides comprehensive industrial space solutions to diverse sectors, specialising in master-planned industrial parks and built-to-suit facilities. For global tech leaders, we deliver complete operating environments as seen with PRO3C’s advanced manufacturing facility in i-Park@Senai Airport City.
“We are committed to supporting their cross-border expansion. Through our collaboration with FICG, we continue to position Johor and the JS-SEZ as a premier regional hub for high-value manufacturing.”
FIC Global Inc chairman Leo Chien said: “Global competition is no longer about the size of a single factory. Today, success depends on how well a company connects its manufacturing, supply chains, innovation and customers across borders.
“Our partnerships with AME Elite and JTC, supported by UOB’s regional banking and connectivity capabilities, mark a new phase in FICG’s global development. By combining Malaysia’s manufacturing strengths with Singapore’s regional capabilities in innovation, talent and supply chain management, we are building a resilient cross-border platform to serve our global customers and create long-term value for our shareholders and partners.”
According to FICG’s development roadmap, PRO3C’s new manufacturing campus in i-Park@Senai Airport City commenced volume production at the end of 2025 and continues to ramp up.
FICG will hold the facility’s grand opening ceremony in October, formally unveiling FICG’s manufacturing presence in Malaysia. Together with the planned Singapore Regional Innovation and Supply Chain Centre, the facility will anchor FICG’s cross-border operating model, supporting customers across Asean and international markets.
The initiative is supported by UOB Bank, whose cross-border banking capabilities and regional business connectivity will facilitate investment, financial integration and strategic partnerships across FICG’s expanding regional network.
