PUTRAJAYA, 12 AUGUST 2026 – Strategic investments in Move Robotic, Recove and Edote will support Malaysian innovation in industrial automation, healthcare technology and digital accessibility.
VentureTECH Sdn Bhd (VentureTECH), a government-backed impact investment company, has announced RM28 million in strategic investments in three Bumiputera-led high-growth, high-value (HGHV) technology companies as part of efforts to strengthen Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem and technological capabilities.
The investments in Move Robotic Sdn Bhd, Recove Group Sdn Bhd and Edote Sdn Bhd were announced during an Investment Agreement Signing Ceremony held at Pulse Grande Hotel, Putrajaya.
Each company offers differentiated technologies, scalable business models and strong commercial potential, with innovations spanning industrial automation, healthcare technology and digital inclusion.
Together, the investments are intended to strengthen Malaysia’s industrial competitiveness, technological capabilities and long-term economic resilience while supporting the aspirations of the Bumiputera Economic Transformation Plan 2035 (PuTERA35).

Commenting on the investments, Azizan Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of VentureTECH, said the company seeks to invest in businesses developing innovative technologies that address real-world challenges and strengthen strategic industries.

Move Robotic Advances Industrial Automation

Recove is a Med-Tech commercialisation platform focused on transforming research-driven healthcare innovations into market-ready medical technologies.

The company developed eBrelle, described as the first standalone Braille laptop in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The device enables visually impaired users to access, create and interact with digital content independently.
By integrating proprietary hardware, software and accessibility-focused applications into a single platform, Edote aims to reduce barriers to education, employment and digital participation.
With VentureTECH’s support, the company is positioned to expand its manufacturing capabilities, strengthen its product portfolio and bring its home-grown assistive technology to more users across Malaysia and the region.

The Investment Agreement Signing Ceremony was witnessed by Datuk Ir. Khalilur Rahman Ebrahim, Chairman of VentureTECH; Ts.
